Originally built by the Education Department to house the Principal of Dunalley Primary School, 16 Bay Street is a warm, inviting home oozing with appeal and potential.

Positioned in a peaceful location, the property is only minutes’ walk to the waterfront, local cafes, the pub, and boating. Ideal for leisurely coastal living or a holiday retreat, not to mention an affordable first home or perhaps savvy investors looking to tap into Dunalley’s coastal charm.

This original much loved 1968 weatherboard home offers either 3 or 4 bedrooms, a renovated bathroom, separate toilet and separate laundry.

The northerly aspect captures sun in most rooms, including the living areas, providing beautiful light and warmth throughout.

The 1260m2 (approx.) fully established block is connected to the town sewerage, a huge advantage over the usual septic systems and the two 2 x new 20k litre water tanks provide a worry-free water supply.

The garden, which offers plenty of scope to develop, offers surprising and delightful views towards Blackman Bay.

Dunalley has an incredibly strong sense of community in its DNA, and with the convenience of Sorell, 25 mins, and Hobart, 50 mins, little wonder it is a popular and desired destination for home buyers and tourists alike. The beautiful Dunalley primary school is perfectly located over the back fence.

16 Bay Street offers an attractive entry into Dunalley’s property market.

Whether you dream of a contented family home or an investment in Tasmania’s inviting seaside lifestyle, this lovely home should be at the top of your list.
